Ariadne, in Greek mythology, was the daughter of Minos, King of Crete.
She is also know as the "Mistress of the Labyrinth" as she was in charge of the famous labyrinth of Crete, where the myth of Minotaur and Theseus took place. Ariadne is represented here by the house, while the labyrinth is represented by the small garden in the heart of the house.
