Single-family residential building
House lkigai is an architectural concept of a Single-family residential building. The design of the house was inspired by Eastern architecture and culture. The concept aims to strike a balance between a House´s footprint and the environment. Basic and raw project materials: Clay, concrete, wood, and glass complement the environment in a way that does not overshine the environment and reads as a whole with nature. The project name was inspired by the book -"lkigai: The Japanese Secret To a Long and Happy Life" by Hector Garcia and Francese Miralles. While the philosophy behind that book is very deep and immense, I want to point out that one of the numerous pillars of finding your lkigai is reconnecting with nature.
