Introduction: The Bridge Project, from the rugged cliffs to the rusted metal facades, every element tells a story of the delicate balance between the living and the nonliving. This project serves as a mountain base camp, catering to both alpinists and tourists alike.
Integration with Nature: The architect´s vision was clear: to seamlessly integrate the building into its natural surroundings. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding cliffs and dying grass, we opted for rusted metal sheets on the facade, mirroring the earthy tones of the landscape. We curated a selection of metal textures to blend seamlessly with the environment, ensuring that the building stood as a testament to its natural counterpart.
The Name: The Bridge: But why "The Bridge"? For me, this project is more than just a physical structure; it represents the threshold between the living and the nonliving. Situated at an altitude of 3000 meters, this site marks the final frontier for tourists, where only the most daring alpinists dare to venture. Here, even the grass refuses to tread further, symbolizing the delicate balance between life and the barren expanse beyond—a bridge between two worlds.
