Client: Turquoise Branding and The Saudi Railways Organization
Architect: Foster + Partners
Here are two meticulously crafted views of Foster+Partners Haramain Station in King Abdullah Economic City, part of the Haramain High Speed railway linking Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia. Minmud completed several versions of the project, and these high contrast versions are the closest to the final station which was opened in 2018.
The aim was to produce some clear crisp views with carefully staged people. The cameras are placed by hand without using tools to snap them to the exact middle leaving it with a natural feel, and the views use a three point perspective, without straightening the verticals to accentuate the height and the feeling of looking up at the amazing ceiling detail.
