TREE HOUSE is a 130 meters highrise that will be built next to Rotterdam Central Station.
The project is inspired by the ecosystem of a tree. The building collects rainwater from Central Station and generates solar energy on the roofs and balconies.
The image narrative is to show the tower in between the 2 dominant buildings in the Rotterdam skyline, 1st is the Rotterdam central station building with its iconic shade, and the 2nd is the Delftse Poort building with its huge mass fully covered in glass. Also if you have ever been to this area, you will notice how the tram presence of tram lines affects the area visually and acoustically, and that´s what I tried to tell in my image.
