A home designed to brave the California wildfires
Originally envisioned for the fire-prone landscapes of California’s central coast by o2 Architecture, this non-combustible home was designed to withstand the challenges of a changing climate and resource limitations, with its pool doubling as a vital water source in potential wildfires. Though never built, its story may not be over yet; new possibilities are taking shape in the Pacific Northwest. This vision may yet find a place to rise.
