Project Credits Concept skyscraper – Leadson Architects Team: arh. Laurentiu Stanciu
It's a personal work, a concept proposal. I had this idea in mind for a few months. I wanted to be as realistic as possible, but with an edge. It's sharp, with a small amount of both organic and parametric design. I imagined an iced-glass “top of the rock”, breaking it’s structure pieces as it heightens above everything around. First I thought about the general shape, I wanted to strike out, comparing to the surrounding area. It’s faces are very angled and the intersections between them are edged out with an exterior lattice. Building’s structure is visible and comes with a diagonal joint between it’s beams. This gives a very strong feeling about it’s reliability. Looks like a mesh that reinforces the building.
