This is my first ever project in 3D architectural visualisation.
I started learning 3D early 2021 and was very quickly impressed by photorealism in CGI creations. After learning basic 3D concepts in Blender, I then really wanted to try FStorm render in 3dsMax. This lead me to Johannes Lindqvist's tutorials and thus to his "Ovre Olskroksgatan" series. I followed all the steps and recreated the exact same apartment - that is how you learn when you start something new. But when the tutorial videos were discontinued, I decided to finish the work on my own. Today I feel confident to start my own next projects.
I made this project to see how close I could get to photorealism. With no initial floor plans of the apartment, every room and camera angle were manually aligned and matched to the original photos from a Swedish real estate company called Stadshem.
