This was a personal project for which the overall goal was to generate compelling and "exciting" imagery for a future military drone concept to be used in an article on (you guessed it).
"The Future of Military Drones." The completed design borrows from past and present stealth aircraft like: the chines (SR-71), black paint scheme (B2), long wings (, slanted vertical stabilizers and sharp nose. There are however "futuristic" elements throughout the aircraft such as the blended body intake, laser weapon and hexagonal skin array. Modeling, texturing and rendering were completed in Modo with HDRI skydomes used to match the backplates.
