Could you describe your career path to us in a few words? When did it start and how did you get involved with this job?
I have started doing 3D in 2009. Then I moved to Amsterdam to work in the 3D department of UXUS design. It was a really nice period for me because I had to learn both english and 3d at the same time. I also had the opportunity to work with really talented artists on very challenging projects. Once I got enough experience then I started working as a freelancer doing both commercial and personal projects. I did some in house collaborations with other companies visiting Neoscape in Boston and Piranha NYC last year. It's a nice feeling to learn and share your experience with other artists in order to improve your skills.
Is 3dart only a job for you or something more? Please tell us your feelings about 3dart.
Nowadays I do not consider 3D art as a job and I think that it has to be a part of my life on a daily basis. The inspiration is everywhere in the real world and we should always observe every detail around us in order to to reproduce it on our screen!
Have you ever won an award for your work or even any distinctions at the forums you participated in?
I have a 2013 project called "The Japanese" which got some forums awards in Ronen Bekerman and also it was the best ArchViz Still Image for the 3D World Magazine in 2013 and nominee for CG Architectural Awards by CGArchitect for Non-Commissioned Image.
Which are your plans, or better your goals for the future?
I want to keep producing as high quality projects as possible using the tools which we have in our market. I understand that several new software is coming and thus I should to take a look to some of the new technologies. But like I said the most important thing for me is to always enjoy my produced images.
Please give some advice to our members who would like to join Vray World Club. How can they be inspired to create their personal projects?
The best advice which I have to share is that 3D art is not for any lazy people. You need t passion and you have to train your eyes looking for both quality and detail. Find your inspiration by traveling, walking down the street or even using your digital camera just to shot simple things and always try not to copy anyone else. Try to find your own style and your own workflow and this may make the difference.
