Interior CGI images of my real new house, built on my architectural / design project.
It has been quite a long trip from where everything started.
Me and my wife wanted to build our own house, it was 2015 and I was in the middle of my career as an interior designer as an employee in a retail design company. So we found a land, and I decided to make the full architecture and design project as usually I was doing for clients, and it has been the widest, hardest and maybe the best project I have ever done. I covered all the aspects of such a project, also engineering ones, but the most interesting for you would be the concept. Born as a “bungalow” house (1 single floor under the roof), it respects almost all criteria of a passive house but we decided to go for our way instead of respecting all the rules, for example we have wide sliding windows instead of little and non fully openable ones. Also we have all the rooms placed properly concerning the sun position during the day and during the year, so we can enjoy the beauty of the sun light shyning in every moment of the day. There are many other interesting things, but for that we would need an entire book to describe them all. We actually live in this house, and my frustration has always been that I never made the visualizations for this project, because it would take so much time, that having a family with kids, it would be simply impossible to do it properly in the free time.
But it came a great news, that GTAPR wanted me in the next volume, and asking me for an interior scene to share with you all. So, as a fan of Math, I just made 1+1. And here we are, I put all myself in the visualizations of my house using the project building files and putting together all the info I stored in my pc. Once you get the scene, you will notice incredible architectural details and also design ones, cause everything is done according to the real production of things, with a CAD precision, shown with photoreal visualizations.
Welcome to my house, the magic place where I live.
