Old is the new luxury. The barrel-vaulted brick ceiling is a material language with strong visual values and heritage. A rigorous style, which is also extremely elegant in our days. In the Catalan language, it's called 'volta Catalana' which means 'Catalan arch' and it was an easy way to build a roof with ceramic tiles, where the arch distributes the forces it receives to both sides.
